We regret to inform you that the Decentralised Identity (DID) Summit has been cancelled.
This decision was not made lightly, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Let’s get together in Berlin the first week of June, before EIC, to discuss Decentralised Identity (DID) in an open format. This summit is designed for two distinct audiences:
  • Banks who are leveraging or plan to leverage reusable verifiable credentials.
  • Businesses and merchants who are interested in leveraging verifiable credentials issued by banks for user identification, authentication, and authorisation (relying parties).
Here are the details:
Date: Monday, June 3, 2024
1pm Bank arrival time
3pm Relying parties arrival time
5pm Adjourn and head to Happy Hour

In addition, this event will be completely partner- and vendor-neutral, focused on use cases, benefits over traditional approaches, and where the technology and industries will go regarding the art of the possible.

Discussion topics:

For Banks (1–3 PM)

  • Cooperation goals for cross-border banking (next gen open banking)
  • A deep dive into next gen bank ID
  • Reviewing current and proposed regulations around DID / verifiable credential schemas

For Relaying Parties & Banks (3–5 PM)

  • Opportunities to engage with banks about how to implement DID with their verifiable credentials (Bank ID)
  • Benefits of Bank ID in preventing fraud, ensuring privacy, and minimising risk
  • Use cases for Bank ID in key sectors like yours (retail, travel, hospitality and more)

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Berlin!
